Leading the gangmasters towards an end to exploitation - preview

Paul Whitehouse, of Hereford and Mid-Wales Monthly Meeting sets out the mission of the Gangmasters Licensing Authority

The Friend at the Fringe has a double and poignant meaning for me
  • I am delighted at The Friend's venture into the Edinburgh Fringe with such a relevant peformance
  • I have the challenging task of leading the Gangmasters Licensing Authority (GLA) in its mission to end the exploitation of workers in the agriculture, horticulture, shellfish gathering and food and drink processing and packaging industries
  • The GLA exists to prevent the exploitation of those less fortunate members of our society who live on the fringe
