An abundance of treasurers - preview
It came as a surprise to members of Stewardship Committee to realise that we have one treasurer for every thirty members (15,000 Friends divided by 500 posts equals thirty Friends per treasurer)
  • Some posts may be vacant, some Friends may hold more than one post and some posts may be held by one of our 8,000 attenders but, for an organisation of our size, we have a lot of people keeping books and moving money

  • Some Friends have been considering ways in which Meetings can share the work involved and it is worth looking at the arrangements developed by West Kent Area Meeting described in Treasurers’ News of August 2008, available at www
