The Quaker Committee for Christian and Interfaith Relations (QCCIR), the committee responsible for relating to other churches and faiths on behalf of the Britain Yearly Meeting (BYM), recently heard from David Cornick, Churches Together in England’s general secretary He said the crafting of documents and gifting them to others is akin to the dead mouse presented by a cat to its owner In other words, such documents can be gifts that are neither asked for nor welcome However, for the giver, they are precious and carefully captured
