Ilina Sen, whose husband Binayak was arrested in Raipur in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh on 14 May 2007 on charges of having links with armed Maoist groups, will speak about his case next month in London, Cambridge, Brighton and Edinburgh Binayak Sen, who spent many years providing healthcare to marginalised communities, has been denied bail and had his trial repeatedly delayed His case has been taken up by Amnesty International, which called the charges ‘very worrying’ and regards Binayak Sen as a political prisoner
