Two people who made a difference to prisoners facing execution

That word ‘relationships’ was echoed by sister Helen Prejean and Sunny Jacobs, two women with different experiences of America’s death row
  • Yet they both evoked, from their own perspectives, the importance of relationships

  • She and Sunny Jacobs were speaking as the Lifelines organisation, which finds penfriends for US death row prisoners, was marking its twentieth anniversary last year

  • Harry Albright
