American CO wins temporary reprieve
American war resister Jeremy Hinzman has been given an eleventh hour stay of deportation, allowing him to remain in Canada while his case is reconsidered
Jeremy was granted the stay just one day before he and his family were due to be deported back to the USA, where he will probably face trial by the US military for desertion Jeremy, a soldier in the military, left the USA after his application to be registered as a conscientious objector was refused
