Banking and BYM
The financial turmoil in Britain’s banking sector has touched upon Britain Yearly Meeting (BYM)
The cash held by BYM for investment purposes, totalling £28m, is held in Birmingham Midshires, a subsidiary of troubled banking group HBOS HBOS has recently agreed to merge with Lloyds TSB, following concerns about its future
The issue has been considered by Quaker Finance and Property Central Committee (QFaPCC), which at its last two meetings discussed where the investment cash is deposited
