Quakers without boundaries
The stillness was heartfelt but for the first time in my Quaker experience I had to strain to hear ministry because of the kerfuffle behind me This was no ordinary Meeting for Worship at Speakers Corner in Hyde Park in London It was part of Westminster Meeting’s 2007 National Quaker Week (NQW) efforts
One year on, we will be having worship outside during NQW again but the difference is that outdoor Meeting is now a regular part of the Westminster calendar rather than a special event for outreach Every month we hold our Meeting for Worship at roughly the same spot next to but aside from the many speakers, shouters, debaters and exhibitionists offering their wares in this peculiar part of London
