Dreamschemes: direction from God? - preview

Clare-Marie White describes another small circle making wider ripples

'Are you a Quaker?' I had to ask
  • On one of my trips to cover the local Dreamscheme project, seeing the 'small circles' quote from Rufus Jones was a bit like suddenly bumping into an old friend when you least expect it
  • Especially given the surroundings, a community centre on the edge of a condemned estate in the south of Stoke-on-Trent, full of noisy but nice kids
  • But really, given the project, I wasn't very surprised
  • Children from the Coalville estate were being given the chance to share lunch with visitors from Uganda and exchange accounts of their lives
