  • 'Wonderful!' 'Solid
  • ' 'Brilliant!' 'Down to earth
  • ' 'Loved the poetry!' 'It seemed to flow naturally out of the morning session
  • '

Friends who had come expecting a worthy but perhaps slightly dull disquisition on 'stewardship' found themselves entertained and moved by a warmly personal testimony in those inimitable, caressing Perth tones

  • Yes, it was about stewardship – but it wasn't about investments and property, not even about material things in general
  • It was about the way we maintain our insights and traditions, our personal and collective relationship with the divine, our testimony, our way of doing things
  • Here were all the familiar elements of the Quaker way, yet looked at from a different angle
  • Our responsibility for the Quaker treasures we have inherited involves not only cherishing them but breathing new life into them with the insights of our own times and ensuring that we hand them on to the next generation in good order

  • Stevie Krayer
