Welcome to Yearly Meeting
A few weeks ago I overheard a Friend telling another that the message of the Bible is: 'God is love and the rest is commentary' He may be right, he may be wrong, but it is something to bear in mind We Quakers have a common core, and we spend the rest of the time trying to determine its meaning We try to understand its import for us either in the grand scheme of things or in the minutiae of our daily lives And we try to explain it, whether to ourselves or others, but the key is to do so satisfactorily
