Iglesia de los Amigos Caqeros - preview
Kenya Casanova sets out some of the recent trials and tribulations that her Yearly Meeting has experienced
'Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olives shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: yet I will rejoice in the Lord of my salvation'
Habakkuk 3:17-18
This verse from Habakkuk has been almost a slogan to Cuban Friends for several years In the middle of our troubles and strife, we have been feeling the presence and support of God On 28 February we held the General Assembly of our Yearly Meeting It was a time to rejoice in the Lord and a time to discuss our issues
