What happened so far in National Quaker Week
National Quaker Week may still be ongoing, but there are plenty of events that have already taken place
Ahead of the week, Quakers in Maidstone invited local MP Ann Widdecombe to join a debate about prisons as part of their outreach activities The discussion, which also included explanations of criminal justice programmes with Quaker links, was followed by a shared meal and Meeting for Worship
The Institute of Higher Education in Wrexham held two Meetings for Worship as part of their Freshers Week 'Faithspace' Paul Jeorrett, a Quaker working at the Institute, was also asked about Quakers on account of the bright red Quaker t-shirt he was wearing
