Meeting for Sufferings - preview
Sufferings' plan for the next twelve months
The two most substantive items at Meeting for Sufferings both concerned forward planning in one way or another
  • The first of these, 'Themes for Meetings for 2007', set out, if not an agenda, at least a framework into which certain items of business might fit

  • At MfS on 1 September the theme will be 'Varieties of Quaker experience', where it is expected to discuss Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC)'s report, Quaker World Relations Committee, the report of European YMs, Quaker Community on Christian and Interfaith Relations (QCCIR), developments in Wales, Quaker Life's report on same-sex partnerships, Quaker Housing Trust's triennial report and a follow-up to Summer Gathering
