Mary Hopkins of the Leicester Meeting Quaker Quest Planning Group explains why they started inside the Meeting
For Leicester Meeting, as for many others, starting a programme of Quaker Quest felt like a huge undertaking when we started to consider it last October
A group of us had been inspired by an introductory session with the Travelling Quaker Quest (TQQ) team, and this had led us to feel that Quaker Quest was something we should do But at our first planning session there were real concerns that QQ would overburden key members who already spend so much time supporting the Meeting in different ways, and that perhaps we were not 'ready' for this just yet
