'The Iraq Study Group Report released two weeks ago provides an honest and candid focus on the “grave and deteriorating” situation in Iraq that should help Congress dramatically change US policy from a focus on military victory towards achieving a political settlement', the Friends Committee on National Legislation stated last week
  • They also believe that the other key to peace in the Middle East is for the US to enter into serious negotiations with both the Israelis and Palestinians
