Many of our letters are from Friends asking for information from each each other. We will be adding those letters here to develop a forum for sharing information and advice. We print contact details in the magazine and PDF but not on the website – if you would like us to pass on specific messages in response to queries and don't have access to contact details please email editorial@thefriend or send a letter to the office.

Stephanie Thorpe, 31 August
2007 brings about the 25th anniversary of the death of Bernard Brett. I
knew him from the age of 9 (1969) when we first moved back to Colchester.
I have always felt that he was an amazing bloke and would dearly love for
him to be remembered before all the people who knew him best slip out of
this world taking there many memories of Bernard with them. I know he was
a quaker and would still be remembered by many of them. But to the many
youngsters that he still helps now through the work he done in his life, I
feel he is becoming a picture on a wall. Do you have any ideas on how we
can revive the memory and work of this brilliant man?

Kit Byatt, Almeley Wootton Preparative Meeting, 11 August
Hereford and Mid Wales MM has enjoyed an active cycle of spiritual life reviews of its geographically dispersed preparative meetings. At a recent Monthly Meeting we were asked to consider undertaking a spiritual life review of the Monthly Meeting, and are now in the process of devising a process to achieve this. Do any other MMs have any experience of such an exercise? We would value any advice or suggestions.
