  • Read on
  • It's a tiny car park available beside Enniscorthy Meeting House, but just imagine the closeness this affords Friends – a closeness enjoyed by the cars of Friends if not the Friends themselves
  • However, I wouldn't even mention it if I thought that Quarterly Meeting in Enniscorthy did anything other than foster a certain kind of closeness among those who make the effort to attend


  • It is the season of lush, plump, red, tasty strawberries and don't try to tell me that doesn't have something to do with the special atmosphere generated once a year in County Wexford where Harold Lamb pioneered strawberry growing in the 1940s
