Open Sundays at Ettington Meeting House (1684) - preview
This historic Meeting House is listed Grade II*
  • It now has a tranquil situation in a quiet lane (previously the busy A46 – Fosse Way) in a sheltered garden with a carpet of early snowdrops followed in Spring by masses of primroses
  • It has 17th century benches with a small Elders stand and a fine replica of the (low – 5'8”) original door; more unusual is the rush matting covering the lower portion of the walls
  • A small but active membership continues the tradition of Quaker Worship sometimes rising to 10 or more Friends

  • This is a preview of the full article - to see the whole thing, or to post a comment you need to login, or alternatively you could try a free sample!
