How many of you southern Quakers would like to start a new life in Scotland? The Quakers Housing Association Scotland (QHAS) tells Eye that it is currently exploring sites in the country for a housing development for retired and near retiring Friends, and also younger families
One site to come under scrutiny is in East Kilbride, a new town south of Glasgow There are good train links to the city and local schools are good too, but QHAS says sadly that there are not enough Quaker families in Scotland to take advantage of this site
