Animal concern - preview

Thirty animal lovers gathered at Friends House in May for the Quaker Concern for animals AGM

The business followed the usual pattern regarding the financial and general health of our Society, both of which were good
  • Marian Hussenbux of Birkenhead PM was appointed to the committee, and there were no other changes to its constitution


  • The most significant item of business was our adoption of increased membership subscriptions to begin in January 2004
  • We believe this is the first increase in 10 or more years; details will appear in the autumn News Letter, which will also contain information regarding the possible creation of an ecumenical forum for occasional meetings of the 'religious' animal groups
