This was a comment made by a parent governor at the primary school my son goes to Of course it would be difficult to measure and so could not appear in the official league tables or SATS that children are subjected to at regular intervals Yet passion is surely what brings many Quakers into public services such as teaching or social work – a passion to help children learn about the world and to discover their individual talents, or to work with families living in areas of deprivation and help them to find ways of coping and improving their lives
